Above example are ample enough to make you aware about the importance if vitamins and minerals. Minerals are important part of body function and so are vitamins. But it would be not wrong to mention that vitamins are a little less important as compared to minerals but they do not lose their importance any ways.

As for the need of human body is to ensure right functioning of the body from smaller level to the largest one, it requires large amount of energies, daily. As we move towards older age and get performing our duties we lose a number of minerals and vitamins everyday. So we require supplying these lost amounts back to our body and that is through our diet.
